Park at the High School — Seriously.

If you’re riding, please go directly to Heard County High School and park for the day. Don’t be the “just for a minute while I get my number,” “I’ll be quick,” or “I’m just dropping someone off.”

There are 800+ spots, and it’s only 0.4 miles — downhill — from the Start/Finish. Please use it.

We work hard to keep downtown parking open for Franklin residents, local businesses, and the folks who make this weekend possible. The best way to respect the town hosting us is simple: park where we ask.

When you arrive, look for volunteers — they’ll point you where to park.

Give yourself plenty of time to park, ride over, and get checked in. Starts are staggered, but don’t cut it close.

Please Don’t Make Us Say It Twice

Franklin is incredibly supportive of this event. Let’s not abuse that goodwill.

1. Do NOT park at local businesses (Piggly Wiggly, Grace’s Treasures, etc.)
2. Do NOT park in church lots
3. Do NOT park in the lots across from the square
4. Do NOT invent your own parking solution

If you’re thinking, “this probably doesn’t apply to me,” it does. Unless you are already there camping, then yes, it doesn’t apply to you as a camper.

Parking at the high school keeps things simple, keeps traffic flowing, and keeps us welcome here year after year.
