The wait’s over — Homegrown Gravel swag is live. This year we’ve got more than just race-day grit; we’ve got gear built to last long after the mud’s washed off. From limited-edition Grouchy Ass Pottery mugs (hand-thrown by Wayne himself) to fresh Homegrown tees, hats, jersey’s, and other ride-day essentials, everything’s, designed built, and/or spec’d with the same love and high-end attitude that fuels the event.

Every item helps keep the spirit of Homegrown rolling — supporting the riders, the race, and the local community that makes it all possible.

Homegrown Limited Mug – made by Grouchy Ass Pottery

Meet the mug that’s as real as the red clay roads we ride. Each Homegrown Mug is handcrafted and wheel-thrown by Wayne (yep, the same guy who puts on Homegrown) at Grouchy Ass Pottery Studios.

Made from 13oz of tan speckled stoneware, every mug is:

Why It Costs “Ouch-That-Kinda-Hurts” Money

Each mug takes around three hours from start to finish — and Wayne’s not cranking these out factory-style. They’re made slow, with love, one at a time.

Each mug is priced at $75, and $50 from every sale goes to the Heard County Food Pantry.
It’s a small way to give back to the same community that makes Homegrown possible — and you get something special in return.

So if you’ve been wanting a Grouchy Ass original (and you know you have), now’s your chance.
Ride local. Drink local. Give back.

The Fine Print

I’ll be making these mugs in small weekend batches.
Ideally, I’d like to hand them off in person on race weekend, but if you’d prefer shipping, just cover the postage (see the shipping button below) and I’ll send yours as soon as a batch comes out of the kiln.

I’ll definitely have a batch ready in time to wrap and put under the tree for the holidays.

I take tremendous pride in my pottery — but remember, this is art, not mass-produced or poured from a mold. Each piece will be slightly different, perfectly imperfect, and clear of any defects.
