20 Miles to get your feet dirty

Ready to dip a toe into the world of gravel? This year’s brand-new 20-mile route is made just for you—whether you’re gravel-curious, easing back into the saddle, or just in it for a good ride with good vibes. It’s an out-and-back beauty that rolls along the river on a low-traffic road with just enough elevation to remind you that yes, we are in Hill Country. You’ll hit about 8 miles of honest-to-goodness gravel, just enough to get a little dirty without rattling your fillings loose. There’s an aid stop at the halfway point stocked with water, snacks, and probably some bad jokes, and our trusty support riders will be cruising the course offering encouragement and a helping hand if needed. And hey—it’s out and back, so if your legs tap out early, just turn around. No shame. No judgment. But if you make it to the turnaround and power back up? That little victory buzz at the top? Pure gold, baby.

20-Mile Route

Update Feb. 19, 2026: This is the final 20-mile course.

NOTE: Should the weather turn south for the event, we will modify the course to keep you off the worst roads. We can’t guarantee there won’t be any mud, but we can limit enough of it to make it still a great day out on the bike, just maybe a little soggier than you like.
